A great way to get involved is to raise funds for SPCA Auckland through your own activities - and you can easily collect the funds online.

Hold your own event and create a fundraising page

 
Step 1: Decide what kind of event you would like to have. Here are some suggestions:
  • Challenge yourself get sponsored to run a marathon, triathlon, or other fitness challenge.
  • Get a team together and do a sky walk.
  • Organise a pet parade.
  • Take the plunge with mid-winter swim.
Step 2: Register your event and create a fundraising webpage.
 
Step 3: Tell your family and friends to visit your webpage and make a donation.
 

Create a fundraising tribute page

Celebrate a loved one or commemorate a birthday, wedding, or anniversary by raising money to help rescue and re-home animals.
 
Step 1: Create a fundraising tribute page. Tell people your story and upload photos.

Step 2: Tell family and friends about your page. You can connect your Tribute page to Facebook and Twitter.

Step 3: Say thank you to your donors. We will give you a sample email you can personalise.


Tribute pages are a great way for your family and friends to show their love for you while benefiting the animals. Special tributes are great for:
  • Weddings: Ask your guest to donate to your page instead of giving you a gift.
  • Memorials: This is a beautiful way to dedicate a page to a special person or pet who have passed on.
