It has been a 6 month road to recovery for Bright Eyes. Found dumped in a cardboard box at the end of a driveway in Manurewa she was so thin and weak she was not even able to stand.

Bright Eyes spent the first six weeks recovering in our hospital, before she was sent out to foster care with Senior Inspector Kevin Plowright.

The support for Bright Eyes has been tremendous, and we couldn’t have done it without supporters like you. Your donations have helped to give Bright Eyes the ongoing medical care she has needed for the past six months.

Most importantly, your support has meant that we could give her the time she needed to get well.

Sadly, we see animals like Bright Eyes all too often. We already have another case of a severely emaciated dog that has come into the hospital. It will be another very long road to recovery, and so once again I am asking you to donate. Together I know we can make a real difference not only for this dog, but also for the more than 20,000 animals we will see this year.

Please give generously so that we can give theses animals the medical care they need, and the love and care they deserve.
