HONEY:...are you the family she is hoping to meet?? HONEY is a total honey, she is such an incredible sweetheart, with a patient, gentle calm, nature. In spite of her obvious injury her trust in humans has not been dented at all and once she knows you, she is friendly and affectionate and smoochy. Her purr may take a moment or two to arrive but it comes from somewhere deep in her chest and is delightful. Her carers here at the Village have developed a real affection for her and are concerned she has not yet found a home. As they say..."all need to be told of her inner beauty, even if her outer beauty has faded a bit...she has a heart of gold"...Her sweet face lights up whenever we go into the room, and although she prefers her feet to be firmly on the ground, she loves smooching if you get down to her level and will give you a good head bunt to show her appreciation. This gentle lady deserves a loving home so very much and although we are trying to give her as much love as we can she needs to find her forever home.

Please, please come and meet her and take her home. This lovely girl will be a delightful addition to your family although she needs to be an only cat .

BUDDY:... is a big, handsome boy who may have been a bit of a couch potato in his previous home. He has a "cuddly" figure, enjoys attention and smooching but prefers to have all four paws on the ground - this is not unusual with big boys. Buddy is confident, outgoing, chatty, and playful and has an independent streak that means he is happy hanging out by himself if you are not around.. He has a squeaky meow that definitely grows on you. He has been with us for quite a while and is becoming quite disheartened by always being the one left behind. His room mates come and go as they find new families and he watches them from the window as they leave for their new forever homes. We try to give him the attention he deserves but he knows we are not his real family and we are saddened knowing he is still waiting so hopefully.

We know he will happily settle into his new home with appreciation and gratitude, although he will need to be an only cat in a quiet home. Buddy will be best suited to a home with no young children.

CASPER:...has happily been with his foster family for a few weeks now and we feel it best that he is adopted straight from his foster home as he becomes a little stressed around too many cats. Comments from his foster Mum:

"It only took a few hours for me to fall head over heels in love with Casper and I think he is absolutely gorgeous - I will certainly miss him when he is adopted into his new home. His lovely copper coloured eyes are just captivating and his fur is such an incredible glowing white. He is quite a fastidious boy, he does put quite a bit of effort into keeping himself so white. He has the most delightful bushy tail - when it is up while he is walking it curls over at the end and sways gently. I am so impressed by his elegance and dignity and I am certain there is some pedigree Turkish Angora in his lineage - maybe granddad managed to give his family the slip and had a night out on the town!

When the mood takes him CASPER is very playful and quite mischievous and always totally delightful. He adores the great outdoors but does not stray far from home and checks in every half hour. During summer you will need to keep him indoors during the hottest part of the day and he will happily accept this as he is usually sleeping then anyway. He actually prefers being close to 'Mum' and keeps me company most of the time. I always have a companion when I am sitting at my desk or on the sofa in the evening. His lovely face, with those huge eyes looks up at me as if for permission to jump up.

He is not a lap cat but I think with encouragement he will be because he reaches out to touch my knee as if testing the idea. He is an independent boy and will happily amuse himself while you are out but when he is in the mood he is quite smoochy and will accept being picked up for a quick cuddle. He does prefer smooching at ground level and will touch foreheads with you if you put your face down to him. He is a very courteous and quiet, sweet and gentle boy and will quickly settle into your home and into your heart. ... come and meet him - you will not regret it.

Casper will need regular grooming and sun screen on his ears and nose when he ventures outside. He will happily share his home with another cat, another white cat would be ideal, but no dogs please.

LEXI is our cuddly, playful girl who is lots of fun.

She takes a while to gain her confidence so for this reason we are adopting her from her foster home.
Lexi's foster family have given her a wonderful home and lots of love but now it is time for her to have a home all of her own.

NOTES FROM LEXI'S FOSTER MUM

"Lexi is a shy but very cuddly young girl.

Lexi loves to curl up in your arms or sit on your lap while you are sitting down relaxing.

Chasing string and ping pong balls about the house is a one of her favourite past times. Very playful when she is relaxed. Jumps into the empty washing basket everyday and chases that long twitchy thing behind her. Very funny. Likes to also play hide and seek with me then run past at full speed to get in front then hides again.

She shares her foster home with 4 cats and 2 calm dogs and gets along with all of them. Always tries to copy what the big cats are doing. Too small to jump as high but bright as she will find another way to go to where they are. Discovered jumping on their tails isn't such a great idea. Stalking the cats then pretending she is innocent of such a crime is her idea of a good game at the moment.

Purrs loudly and snuggles into you when you pick her up and meows ever so sweetly when she sees you. Welcomes me with one of the longest meows when I go into her room to greet me in the morning.

Takes her time till her confidence is 100% that everything is ok. After that she is a normal cat who runs about with her tail up high owning the place. Doesn't stop her from being curious and finding adventures and making her own fun. She just takes things at a slower pace.

Patience is a must with Lexi and she rewards you with total trust and millions of cuddle rubs.

Very easy to care for and eats well. She also likes to steal biscuits from the big cats bowls then sits proudly with them in their room like a big girl.

I have had Lexi for a while and she trusts me. I can rock here like a baby, rub her tummy and massge her paws. Whoever adopts her will get one beautiful cat. I believe that her new owners will be besotted with her personality once she trusts them. Her stunning spotted and striped coat, lovely eyes and her quirky little faces that she expresses when doing what she does, will delight and amuse anybody.

The only reason I am not adopting Lexi is I feel that I would not be giving her the best life possible. She needs to go to a quiet home with less animals so her true self can shine. The lucky person who adopts Lexi will have a fantastic life with millions of cuddles, laughs and true companionship with her in it.
