SPCAs across the world all strive for the same goal – a world without animal cruelty. At SPCA Auckland we believe that education and working within communities is the best way to achieve this.
We aim to prevent cruelty in four key ways:
- Teaching people about caring for animals.
- Providing help and advice for people who are concerned about their animals.
- Working in at-risk areas and establishing relationships with people so we can be there to help when they need us.
- Working with other SPCAs to lobby the government for better laws to protect animals.
